But often, the media tend to focused on the divorced and make the world believe that divorce is only common among celebrities. The expedient Joke Silver with gorgeous and beautiful smiles is married to the astonishing, gentle and magnificent actor; Olu Jacobs. As an actress and director, Joke Silver has received several awards and nominations in her work, but has been able to keep her home blissful and united with Olu Jacobs and two blessed children for the past 29years. Another typical example of a distinguished Nigerian celebrities’ marriage is; Wunmi and Tunde Obe, an outstanding couple that cannot be denied respect for consistent companionship in music and all. These two have proven beyond doubt that you can stand strong together in the same profession. The consistent release of albums together and dual relationship in career, marriage, finance and what have you is a blaze to the mind.
The most remarkable thing is Tunde Obe declares their 10years friendship before marriage. Yet, they have stood strong continuously in their 18years old marriage now. Whoa! 28years of standing and strolling on the same path with deep unity? I can’t shout.

Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, a stunning and leading actress, singer, philanthropist and former model of an Ondo descent from Lagos State, Nigeria, who has appeared in 300 films is married to a pilot; Captain Ekehinde Matthew. They got married in 1996 and have graced a twenty two year old marriage with four children in good fit.
Mercy Johnson
When Mercy Johnson found love in the arms of her prince charming Odi, an Edo prince several years ago, many believed it was one of those Nigerian celebrities’ marriage that would end before it materialized. This is because their marriage was riddled with a lot of controversies and attacks from her husband’s ex-wife who went all over the social media threatening to stop the wedding. But 5 years down the line, Mercy’s union with Odi has evolved into a marriage made in heaven, with two beautiful kids. Contrary to allegations that her career would dwindle following the marriage, it rather skyrocketed.

The handsome star actor has been married to a beauty, Victoria Ima-Obong for 13 years now. One would think, cute Desmond Elliot should be on the parole of divorce since he takes roles that are not appealing, especially to an introverted wife, but no. They have held on to the beauty of love for 13 long years with four beautiful kids.
