Kanye West , on July 4, announced his interest to run for the White House seat. The American rapper, songwriter, entrepreneur and fashion designer, took his fans by surprise as he announced his desire to become the POTUS.
The billionaire rapper and fashion designer, twitted this on the American Independent Day.
In his tweet, Kanye West wrote;
“We must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future. I am running for president of the United States ! #2020VISION”
Kanye’s tweet was immediately responded to by the US Tech billionaire, Elon Musk, who pledged his full support.
Kanye’s wife, Kim Kardashian West may have also pledged her support as she shared Kanye’s tweet on her Instagram story.
At the moment, it’s yet unclear if Kanye is really serious about running for the office of the president.
