Victoria Inyama needs no introduction, though she’s not been active in the Nollywood industry for quite a long time. The beautiful formal actress never fails to air her views on domestic issues, especially when they become a social problem for the society.
According to the former actress, harmful and unreasonable aggression is most likely to be exhibited by people who are not fully functional.
Victoria Inyama wrote on her instagram page;
“Harmful/unreasonable aggression is most likely to be shown by persons who aren’t fully functional. Fully functioning people are more in touch with their deep inner experiencing and have a perspective on the world around them, and are not likely to be disruptively aggressive.
Rogers (1989) emphasised on our abilities to be rational and to be able to make appropriate responses to situations. These abilities will supposedly develop naturally if the proper conditions exist. Roger further offered a solution stating that for the problem of human destructiveness to be cured, there should be the creation of conditions that allow fulfilment of basic human potentialities. All highly social beings want harmonious interpersonal relationship.” Victoria Iyama concluded.
The problem of violence in the society cannot be overemphasised as it destroys homes and affects the society at large.
